Precision butt welding machine for welding PP, PE, PVDF, PVC and other thermoplastics. Standard machine is equipped to weld sheet stock up to 39" working width. Machine can be customized for other geometries such as solid stock or profiles. Manually operated butt fusion machine, consisting of solid, welded steel machine frame, left movable welding table, heating element and clamping system. An innovative clamping technology allows secure clamping of sheets with little effort. For quickest operation when rolling cylinders, pneumatic clamping with or without foot pedals is optionally available. Precise table movement is assured with prismatic guides. The welding forces are achieved by a powerful spring with a scale indicating the welding pressure. A special coupling provides for automatic quick locking of the melting, heating and welding pressures. The heating element is anti-stick coated and designed, constructed and electronically controlled in accordance to the required tight temperature specifications of DVS (German Welding Society).
