Fischer Humidity and Temperature - Durable Meter with white face & black lettering
The humidity is sensed by a Durotherm element that is a synthetic hygroscopic fiber that expands and contracts in response to the moisture in the air. The temperature is indicated by the actuation of a bimetallic spring which transmits changes by expansion and contraction. Housing is solid brass, polished and lacquered. The measurement of the temperature and relative humidity remains correct if the pressure goes up or down.
This is confirmed for the pressure range of 600 … 1200 hPa (mbar) = 8.7 … 17.4 PSI.
