This new model provides the highest level of technology for a cutting tool of such a small size. The TAOPTIMA 703 reaches a power of 150 Watts which, combined with a bronze and high resistance steel gear coupling, allows an impressive cutting torque. RPM is now 1500 for an ultra fast cut.

TAOPTIMA 703 is able to cut any kind of soft material up to 18mm thickness. It is widely applied in textile, technical fabrics and composite materials. The high torque allows it to cut rubber or plastic based materials in the field of carpets and flooring. The motor housing is PTFE coated for heat reducing. The steel foot is strong and of a small dimension allowing a very precise and easy cut of straight or curved sections. The push button sharpening stone allows the sharpening of the knife edge to be done in less than 10 seconds without removing the knife.
The new circuit board includes a glass fuse which can be easily replaced without disassembling the shear and the new fixed protection is transparent to give better visibility during cutting.
